Emil Hallfredsson is an Icelandic international football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Reggina. He plays as a winger.
Emil Hallfredsson commenced his professional club football career at FH Hafnarfjordur in 2002 after developing at the club's youth academy. He played for them between 2002 and 2004, scoring 7 goals in 27 league matches.
Emil Hallfredsson was signed by Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur in January 2005. The left sided midfielder immediately became a regular for the reserves and played a key role in Spurs' 2005-2006 Premier League Southern Reserve title triumph.
Hallfredsson was then loaned out to Swedish club Malmo on a four-month loan and returned to White Hart Lane in the fall.
Emil Hallfredsson was sold to Norwegian club Lyn in July 2007 and made his debut for the club aganst Ham-Kamd the win. But he was soon on his way to Reggina in 2007.
Emil Hallfredsson made his international debut for Iceland in 2005 against Italy.
