A midfielder from Argentina, Diego Rivero is a professional footballer who plays in the top leagues of Argentina. In 1998, Rivero made his debut with Chacarita Juniors, a Primera B Nacional division side. Chacarita were promoted to the Primera Division in the following year before being sent back down in 2004. Rivero was a part of the club throughout their journey and once the team fell, Rivero decided to move to CF Pachuca in Mexico, after playing over 180 games for Chacarita.
Rivero played for Pachuca for a single season and in 2005, moved to Cruz Azul for a brief stint. He returned to Argentina in 2006 and joined San Lorenzo. He was quite instrumental in the team’s 2007 Clausura title win and continues to be a regular member of the first team.
