A defender from Argentina, Leonardo Sigali is a professional footballer. Sigali began his career at the youth development system at Nueva Chicago. He came through to break into the first team in 2006 and made his debut in the same year as well. He stayed with the club for two seasons and played around 15 games before moving to Atletico Lanus.
The same year, he got selected for national Under-20 squad and represented the Argentina Under-20 team at the FIFA U-20 World Cup, a title that Argentina won. At Lanus, he helped the team win the 2007 Apertura title, their only ever league title at the top level. After playing out the season with Lanus, Sigali moved to newly promoted Godoy Cruz in 2008.
