Angel Maximiliano Puertas is a defender who plays professional football. Puertas started his career in 1999 with San Lorenzo, although he just got a couple of appearances in his two seasons with the team. He moved to Almagro in 2000 and stayed for another couple of seasons before moving to Belgrano de Cordoba for a year. He was at CA Los Andes the next season before making another shift, this time to San Martin de San Juan.
After two years at San Martin de San Juan, he moved to Chile and played for a season at Cobresal before moving to Platense in the same year. In 2007, he was at Club Atletico Huracan where he finally got to star in a substantial number of games before moving to Independiente in 2008.
