Cristiano Zanetti is an Italian footballer who currently fatures for the Italian powerhouse Juventus. Zanetti is defensive midfielder renowned for his hard tackles.
Cristiano Zanetti commenced his professional career at the Florence-based club Fiorentina in 1993 and after three seasons moved to Venezia. But he lasted just one season at Venezia and was on the move again this time to Reggina. In the summer of 1998 Zanetti was signed by Inter Milan but failed to settled at the San Siro.
After arching through Cagliari and AS Roma, Zanetti was back in Milan for Inter in 2001 and played for the Nerazzuri until the 2005-2006 season after which he moved to Juventus on a free transfer although Juve were relegated to the Italian Serie B for their participation in the Italian calciopoli scandal in the 2006 summer.
Cristiano Zanetti is also an Italian international and played for his nation in the 2002 World Cup and Euro 2004.
