Mariano Uglessich

An Argentine defender, Mariano Esteban Uglessich is a hard man, who plays in defense. He began his youth career at Velez Sarsfield and broke into the first team in 2002. After over 45 appearances, that included many instances where he came off of the bench, Uglessich moved to Mexican club, Queretaro FC, in the beginning of 2004.

After just 15 games with the side, he was back with Velez but despite being a part of the 2005 Clausura title winning squad, Uglessich barely got any playing time. Once Maximiliano Pellegrino left the club in 2007, things became easier for Uglessich who has since become regular in the first team.
