Juan Carrera

Juan Ignacio Carrera is an Argentine footballer born in the town of Pergamino in the Buenos Aires province of the country. Currently a goalkeeper for the Argentinos Juniors side, Carrera has spent his entire career with the team. He started off as a youth player with Argentinos Juniors and his first tryst with the senior team came in 2001 when injuries and suspensions forced him to be included as part of the squad, thus getting his first cap. Since then, till 2007, he was off of the radar, only coming on the bench on a few occasions. Since 2007, he has had about 10 games with the first team and has become a more regular member of the first team. Ignacio still struggles to make space for himself in the playing eleven though.
