Samuele Dalla Bona, commonly known as Sam Dalla Bona, is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Napoli. He plays as a midfielder and was once rated as one of the most promising footballers in Italy.

Samuele Dalla Bona developed first at the youth academy of Italian side Atalanta and then at Premiership club Chelsea, who signed him in 1998 when he was just 17 years of age. He was part of the Chelsea first team from 1999 to 2002 and scored 6 goals in 55 league matches. In 2002 he moved back to Italy, this time to European giants AC Milan.

Dalla Bona played for them for four seasons until 2006 and made a total of only 4 Italian Serie A matches. During his time at Milan, he was mostly sent on loan to Bologna, Lecce and Sampdoria and was hugely impressivein all of those loan stints, earning a repuation of being one of the best emerging talents in Italian football.

Sam Della Bona was signed by Napoli in 2006. Napoli were then plying their trade in the Italian Serie B. He was an influential figure for Napoli in the 2006-2007 season. He has since been in and out of the squad as Napoli have considerably established themselves in the Serie A and have made a number of signings.
