Gary Alexander Neville is a England international football player who currently features for the English Premier League giants Manchester United. He plays as a right back and is also the captain of his club.
Gary Neville progressed through the youth academy at Manchester United and made his senior debut for the Red Devils in September 1992 against Torpedo Moscow in the UEFA Cup. From 1995 he was drafted into the regular starting line-up by United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and has remained the first choice right full back for United since then.
Gary Neville was appointed as the new captain of Manchester United in December 2005 but missed virtually the entire 2007-2008 season. Neville has won seven Premiership titles, three FA Cups, two European Cups and one League Cup.
Gary Neville made his England debut against Japan in 1995 and has been his nation’s first choice right full back ever since. So far he has played in 85 England matches and holds the record of being the most capped right back for his country in history.
