Mark “Marco” Bresciano is an international Australian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Palermo. He plays as a midfield and is known for his talent, shooting abilities, creativity and pace.
Marco Bresciano made his start in professional club football for Bulleen Lions in Australian in 1995 and after two seasons moved to Carlton. Bresciano then moved to Italy in 1999 and in three seasons for them, scored 17 goals in 80 league matches, establishing himself as one of the best young midfielders in the nation.
He was signed by then flourishing Parma in 2002 and featured prominently for them for four seasons, playing 123 league matches and scoring 19 goals. He established himself as a very mature player in his time at Parma and earned a move to Italian top flight high flyers Palermo in 2006. Marco Bresciano has gone onto play for them prominently and is now a regular for Palermo.
Marco Bresciano made his international debut for Australian in 2001 and has played over 40 international matches for his nation so far. He played for his nation at the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany and was quite a prominent figure for the Socceroos.
