David Gray

David Peter Gray is a young Scottish football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Manchester United. He is a versatile footballer who can feature as a right back or as a right midfielder.

David Gray started his footballing career at Scottish side Heart of Midlothian and progressed at the club until he was 16 years of age when Manchester United signed him for 50,000 pounds. He developed well at the Man United academy and played for the reserves in the 2005-2006 season.

Gray made his first team debut on October 25,2006 against Crewe Alexandra in the League Cup. In January 2007 he was loaned out to Man United’s feeder club in Belgium Royal Antwerp. In November he was again loaned to Crewe for a month.

David Gray has been drafted into the first team of Manchester United for the 2008-2009 season.
