vRichard Patrick Dunne is a Republic of Ireland international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Manchester City. He is a defender and is also the captain of Man City.
Richard Dunne started his professional club career at Everton in 1996 and played for them for four years. He played 60 league matches and then in 2000 was signed by Manchester City for 3 million pounds.
Dunne quickly became a star at Man City and in 2006 took over the captain’s armband. He has always been professional and mature and has been a firm favourite with the crowd and is well respected by the football community. Richard Dunne has played over 250 English Premier League matches for Man City so far.
Richard Dunne made his international debut for Republic of Ireland in 2000 and has featured in 43 matches so far, scoring 5 goals.
