Papa Waigo N’Diaye is a Senegalese international football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Fiorentina. He plays as a striker.
Papa Waigo N’Diaye started his career at Italian club Verona in 2002 and plated for them for three seasons, scoring 11 goals in 65 league matches. He was then transferred to Italian Serie B side Cesena and scored 20 goals in 73 league matches in two years.
Papa Waigo N’Diaye was signed by Genoa in 2007 and played 9 league matches for them before being signed by Fiorentina in a swap deal for Belgian defender Anthony Vanden Borre.
Papa Waigo N’Diaye made a sensational start to his Fiorentina career, scoring two goals in his first three games. But he has yet to secure regular first team football for Fiorentina.
Papa Waigo N’Diaye made his international debut for Senegal in 2007 and has scored 1 goal in 7 international matches for his nation so far. He was part of the Senegalese squad for the 2008 African Cup of Nations in Ghana.
