James Michael Collins is a Welsh international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club West Ham United. He plays as a defender.

James Collins started his professional club football at Welsh side Cardiff City in 2000 and featured prominently for them for five years, scoring 3 goals in 65 league matches. He was adjudged as the Welsh Young Player of the Year in 2005 and was marked for a bright foootballing career.
