Robert Paul Green is an English football player who currently features for the English Premier League club West Ham United. He plays as a goalkeeper and has played once for the England national team.
Robert Green develop at the youth academy of Norwich City and played for the first team from 1999 to 2006. Green was a regular for Norwich for most of those years and played 223 league matches for them, including several matches in the English Premier League.
Robert Green was hugely revered by the Norwich Town supporters and his passion and dedication on the football pitch was hugely admired by most people related to the club. His heroics in front of goal were always greeted with cheers from Norwich’s supporters.
Robert Green was signed by West Ham United in 2006 and he is pretty much the first choice at Upton Park, having featured in over 70 league matches for the Hammers, both in the Premiership and in the Championship.
Robert Green’s only match for England came in 2005.
