Carlos Edwards is a Trinidadian international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Sunderland. He plays as a right-winger.

Carlos Edwards started his professional clu career at Patna United in 1996 and after two seasons moved to London club Queen’s Park Rangers only to return back to Trinidad and Tobago to play for Defence Force. In 2000 Carlos Edwards was signed by Wrexham for 250,000 pounds along with Dennis Lawrence and Hector Sam.

Carlos Edwards played regularly for Wrexham and featured in 165 matches and scored 23 goals in five years. In the summer of 2005 he was signed by Luton Town and played for them for two seasons, scoring 8 goals in 68 matches.

Carlos Edwards was then signed by Sunderland in 2007 and he has not been receiving as many chances as he would have liked.

Carlos Edwards made his international debut for Trinidad and Tobago in 1999 and has played 28 international matches for his nation so far, scoring 5 goals so far.
