Nyron Paul Nosworthy is a London-born Anglo-Jamaican football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Sunderland. He plays as a centre-back.
Nyron Nosworthy started his professional club football career at English club Gillingham and made his first team debut against Fulham on November 28,1998. From the 1999-2000 season Nosworthy was a regular at Gillingham and went onto score 5 goals in 174 hugely impressive seasons.
Nyron Nosworthy was signed by Sunderland in the summer of 2005 on a free transfer and was quickly drafted into the first team at the Stadium of Light and has retained his place so far in the team, having featured both in the Premier League and in the Championship.
