Jlloyd Samuel is an English football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Bolton Wanderers. He plays as a defender and is of Trinidadian descent.
Jlloyd Samuel started his professional club football career at Midlands club Aston Villa in 1998. He played for them until 2007 and was a first choice player for the Villains, featuring in 169 league fixtures and scoring 2 goals. He made his debut for Aston Villa against Chester City in September 1999 in a League Cup tie. He soon became a regular under Graham Taylor but towards the end of his Aston Villa tenure, he was starved of regular opportunities.
In 2007 Bolton Wanderers signed Jlloyd Samuel and he has been more or less a regular for Bolton since.
