Moritz Volz

Moritz Volz is a German football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Fulham. He is a right back and has been loaned out to Ipswich Town for the 2008-2009 season.

Moritz Volz started his professional club career at Premier League side Arsenal when he was spotted playing for the youth team of German giants Schalke 04. He was drafted into the Arsenal unit in 2000 and was officially an Arsenal for four years until 2004 although he did not make a single league appearance. He made his debut for the Gunners in a League Cup defeat to Ipswich Town in 2000. He played on loan first for Wimbledon and then for Fulha,.

In 2004 Fulham signed Moritz Volz on a permanent contract. He has gradually gone to establish himself as a Fulham first team player and has scored twice in 108 league appearances so far for Fulham.
