Ivan Hernandez Soto is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish first division side Sporting de Gijon. He plays as a defender.
Ivan Hernandez started his professional career at little known Spanish club Moscardo in 1998 and then moved onto Amoros, Rayo Majadahonda, Atletico B, Alcoron and then Malaga B.
Then 2005 Hernandez was signed by Real Valladolid and he played two season for then, featuring in 44 league matches.
In the summer of 2007 he was signed by Sporting de Gijon and helped Sporting gain promotion to La LIga for the 2008-2009 season.
