Joshua “Josh” Walker is a young English football player who currently features for the English Premier League side Middlesbrough. He is a defensive midfielder and is a teenager.

Josh Walker is a graduate of the youth academy of Middlesbrough and proved his versatility at the youth level as he also played at central defence and captained the England’s U16 and U17 sides. He won the FA Youth Cup with Middlesbrough in 2003-2004.

Josh Walker made his senior debut for Middlesbrough in July 2005 in a 4-2 friendly victory over Carlisle United and made his league debut in the last game of the 2005-2006 season when Middlesbrough lost 1-0 to Fulham.

Walker was subsequently loaned out to Bournemouth and Aberdeen and has been drafted back into the Middlesbrough set-up for the 2008-2009 season although he is likely to warm the bench most of the time.
