Daniel John “Danny” Mills is an English football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Manchester City. He plays as a defender and can play as central defender or as right back.

Danny Mills started his professional club career at Norwich City in 1994 and played for them for four years, playing 66 league matches for them. He then played for London side Charlton Athletic for one year and in 1999 made the big leap to Leeds United.

Danny Mills came into prominence at Leeds United and played for them until 2004. He featured heavily in the English Premier League and during the UEFA Champions League glory days.

In 2004 after 101 league appearances for Leeds, Mills moved to Manchester City but his playing career has been on the trip down the hill since then. He has played on loan at Hull City, Charlton Athletic and Derby County and has been drafted back into the Man City set-up for the 2008-2009 season.

Danny Mills made his international debut for England in May 2001 against Mexico in a friendly international. He played for England at the 2002 World Cup and played each and every minute of England’s five matches in the competition. He managed a total of 19 appearances for his nation between 2001 and 2004.
