Stephen Warnock is an English football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Blackburn Rovers. He is a versatile footballer who can play at left back or at left midfield.
Stephen Warnock is a graduate of the Liverpool youth academy and made his debut for the Reds in 1998. But he was never a first choice first team player for the Mersiders and could make just 67 Premier League appearances in his tenure at Anfield.
Stephen Warnock also played for Bradford City and Coventry City on loan from Liverpool.
Stephen Warnock was signed by Blackburn Rovers in January 2007 for 1.5 million pounds and has been a regular player at Ewood, having featured in over 50 matches in all competitions and is a regular first choice at left back.
Stephen Warnock’s great form for Blackburn earned him his first international cap for England as he came on as a substitute in the 85th minute for Wayne Bridge in an international friendly against Trinidad & Tobago on June 1,2008.
