Andre Ooijer is a Dutch international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Blackburn Rovers. He is a central defender.

Andre Ooijer developed at the youth academy of the Dutch giants AFC Ajax Amsterdam but with stiff competition for a place in the starting line-up, left for FC Volendam in 1994. After one season, he went to Roda JC where after two impressive seasons moved to Dutch powerhouse PSV Eindhoven where he scored 19 goals in 192 league appearances until 2006 when he moved to Blackburn Rovers and has been a regular for them.

Andre Ooijer made his international debut for the Netherlands in 1998 and has gone to play 38 matches for his nation, scoring twice. He featured in the 1998 France World Cup, 2006 Germany World Cup and Euro 2008.
