Wilfred Bouma is a Dutch international football player who currently features for the English Premier League side Aston Villa. He is a versatile football player who can feature as a left back or as a centre-back.

Wilfred Bouma made his professional debut in club football for Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven in 1994. He went to play 170 league matches in the Netherlands and scored 19 goals.

In the summer of 2005 Aston Villa signed the strong and tactically astute Wilfred Bouma for 3.5 million pounds. He has been a regular at Villa Park since then.
