Nigel Shola Andre Reo-Coker is an English football player who currently features for the English Premier League side Aston Villa. He plays as a defensive midfielder.
Reo-Coker started his professional club career at London side Wimbledon in 2002 and after two hugely impressive seasons was signed by West Ham United in the summer of 2004.
Nigel Reo-Coker played for three seasons for West Ham and came into notice. He was a key performer for the Hammers in the 2006-2007 season when they just managed to avoid relegation from the Premiership.
After making 120 appearances in the Premier League for West Ham and scoring 11 goals for West Ham, he was signed by Aston Villa in the summer of 2007 for 8.5 million pounds on a four-year deal. He was a regular for Martin O’Neill in the 2007-2008 season.
