Niko Kranjcar is a Croatian international football player who currently features for the English Premier League side Portsmouth. He is a midfielder and is rated as one of the best in the Premiership.
Niko Kranjcar made his debut in professional football for Dinamo Zagreb in 2001 and played with pomp and consistency for one of Croatia’s superpowers for three years. He featured in 85 league matches and scored 19 goals. In the summer of 2004 by Croatia’s other giants Hajduk Split and scored 15 goals in 53 league matches.
In the summer of 2006 Portsmouth came calling and signed him for 5.2 million euros. He has been pretty much regular for Pompey.
Niko Kranjcar made his international debut for Croatia in August 2004 against Israel. He has played almost 50 matches for his nation so far.
