Richard Michael Duffy is a Welsh international football player who currently features for the English Premier League side Portsmouth. He is a versatile footballer who can play as a midfielder or as a right back.
Richard Duffy commenced his professional at Welsh side Swansea in 2001 and played for them for three years.
In 2004 Portsmouth came calling and signed the young Welsh player. However he was sent on loan to Burnley for the 2004-2005 season and has been playing on loan for Coventry City since then until the summer of 2008 when he was recalled to the Portsmouth set-up.
Richard Duffy made his international debut for Welsh in August 2005 against Slovenia at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea and has made 13 appearances for his nation.
