Andrew Stuart “Andy” Dawson is an English football player who currently features for the English Premier League side Hull City. He plays as a defender.
Andy Dawson commenced his footballing career at Nottingham Forest and made his professional debut in 1996. He was at the club for three years but failed to make any league appearances.
In 1999 he was signed by Scunthorpe United and after five consistent and successful clubs and 186 league appearances, he was signed by Hull City on a free transfer. He has become a vital player for Hull and has made over 150 league appearances for te newly promoted Premier League club.
Andy Dawson’s younger brother Michael plays for Tottenham Hotspur.
