John Welsh is a young English football player who currently features for the English Premier League side Hull City. He is a midfielder and represented England U20 at the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship.
John Welsh is a graduate of the youth academy of Liverpool and was on their books professionally between 2002 and 2006. But he was never considered a first team player and made only 4 league appearances for the Reds. He spent the 2006-2006 season on loan to Hull City, who signed him on a permanent contract in the summer of 2006.
