Leighton Baines
Leighton Baines is an England international football player who currently features for the English Premier League side Everton. He is a defender and plays as a left-back, and is considered as one of the best players in England.
Baines made his debut in professional football with Wigan Athletic in 2002 and went onto play for them for five years, He made 145 league appearances and established himself as a very promising young left=back.
In the summer of 2007 Baines was signed by Everton for £1 million. He made 22 Premier League appearances for Everton in his first season at Goodison Park and thereafter became the first-choice at left-back under then-manager David Moyes.
Baines has made over 190 Premier League appearances for Everton so far in his career and is considered as one of the best players in England.
Baines made his international debut for England against Egypt in a friendly international at London’s Wembley Stadium on March 3, 2010. He featured for the Three Lions at Euro 2012.
