Andrea Dossena is an Italy international football player who currently features for the Italian club Napoli. He plays as a left back.
Dossena commenced his footballing career at Italian side Verona in 2001 and went on to establish himself as a first choice left back for the club, playing in 99 Italian league matches and scoring 3 goals.
In the summer of 2005 he was signed by Treviso and after one modest season came to Udinese, where again he was successful as played 63 Italian Serie A matches in two seasons.
In the summer of 2008 Liverpool came calling and signed him for an undisclosed fee on a four-year contract. However, he failed to cut his teeth in English football and moved to Napoli in 2010.
Dossena made his debut for Italy against South Africa in the friendly in October 2007 and has played in 10 international games for his nation since then.
