Nabil El Zhar

Nabil El Zhar is a Moroccan international footballer who currently features for the English Premier League giants Liverpool. He is a midfielder who can plays behind the striker or on the wings.

Nabil El Zhar was born in France and represented France at youth levels but decided to represented Morocco at the senior level. El Zhar developed through the youth teams of Olympique Ales,Nimes Olympique and AS Saint-Etienne and was signed by Liverpool.

El Zahr made his debut for the Liverpool first team in October 2007 against Cardiff City in the Carling Cup and scored a great goal too on his first team debut.

El Zahr is considered as one of the most important players for the national football team of Morocco and since making his debut for them against Belgium in March 2008 in a 4-1 win in which he himself scored he has gone on to score 2 goals in 5 matches.
