Salomon Kalou is an Ivory Coast international footballer who currently features for the Premier League giants Chelsea. He plays as a winger.
Kalou made his debut for Dutch powerhouse Feyenoord in 2003 and went on to make 67 appearances in the Dutch top division and scored 35 goals. English club Chelsea then came calling and signed him in the summer of 2006.
Kalou has been more or less a regular at Chelsea and has been a consistent player for the Blues although there are many who believe that he has been underpar.
Kalou was touted to acquire Dutch citizenship but he failed in his bid and decided to play Ivory Coast instead. He made his debut for his nation in 2007 and has since become an important player for the African team.
