Tal Ben Haim is an Israeli international football player who currently features for the English Premier League side Chelsea. He is a versatile defender who can play wither centre-back or right back.
Tal Ben Haim commenced his football career at Israeli giants Maccabi Tel Aviv in 1998 and in the summer of 2004 after 147 league appearances was signed by Bolton Wanderers in the English Premier League on a three-year contract. He was a huge success at the Reebok Stadium and played 88 Premier League matches between 2004 and 2007.
In the summer of 2004 Chelsea signed Ben Haim on a free transfer and he made 13 league appearances. But he fell out with the then Chelsea manager Avram Grant and was fined by the club.
Tal Ben Haim made his Israeli debut in 2002 and has played 39 international matches for his nation.
