Jose Verdu Nicolas, commonly known simply as Toche, is a Spanish footballer who currently features for the Spanish football club Numancia. He is a midfielder.
Jose Verdu Nicolas commenced his footballing career at Atletico Madrid and after progressing through the youth academy of Atleti, he made his debut for the senior side in 2003. He made just one appearance in the 2003-2004 season and that was to be him sole appearance till the time he was at the Calderon. For the next three seasons Toche was on loan first to Numancia, then Hercules and ten Real Valladolid.
In the summer of 2007, Toche was finally signed on a permanent deal by Numancia.
