Nikica Jelavic

Nikica Jelavic is a Croatia international football player who currently features for the Premier League club Everton. He plays as a striker.

Jelavic commenced his professional club football career at Hajduk Split in 2002 and played for them for five years. However, he failed to establish himself at the Croatian giants and after a year at Zulte Waregem, moved to Rapid Vienna in 2008.

The Croatian played for the Austrian outfit for two years between 2010 and 2012, scoring 30 goals in 45 league appearances. His impressive performances saw Everton come calling and land him in January 2010.

Jelavic soon became a hit at Everton and was huge impressive at Goodison Park. He is now a regular at the Merseyside outfit.

Jelavic made his international debut for Croatia against Qatar in a friendly international on October 8, 2009 and played for his country at Euro 2012.
