Ki Sung-Yueng
Ki Sung-Yueng is a South Korea international football player who currently features for the Premier League club Swansea City. He plays as a central midfielder.
Ki commenced his professional club football career at South Korean giants FC Seoul in 2006 and played for them for the following three years. He won the 2006 League Cup with them and scored seven goals in 64 league appearances.
Ki moved to Scottish giants Celtic in the summer of 2009 and quickly established himself as a key player in the Hoops’ team. He help the team win the Scottish Cup in 2011 and then the Scottish Premier League in the 2011-12 campaign, scoring nine goals in 66 league matches in three years in the process.
In the summer of 2012 Ki joined Swansea City from Celtic for a transfer fee of around £6 million on a three-year contract. He won the League Cup with the Swans in 2013.
Ki made his international debut for South Korea on June 7, 2008 against Jordan in a 2010 World Cup qualifier. He has gone on to play over 50 international matches for his country and won the bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics.
