Angel Rangel is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Premier League club Swansea City. He plays as a right-back.
Rangel commenced his professional club football career with Tortosa in 2001 and went on to play for Reus, Girona, Sant Andreu and Terrassa. In the summer 2007 he moved to Swansea City to play under his compatriot Roberto Martinez.
Rangel proved crucial to Swansea’s return to the second tier of English football at the end of the 2007-08 season and established himself as a key player for the Swans in the subsequent years.
Rangel has subsequently gone on to play in more than 220 league matches across the Championship and the Premier League, winning the League Cup with the Welsh outfit in 2013.
