Alvaro Herrero

Alvaro Pena Herrero is a Spanish football player who currently features for Spanish football club Athletic Bilbao. He plays as a midfielder.

Herrero joined Bilbao’s youth academy in 2006 when he was just 15 years of age. He played for the C team for two years between 2009 and 2011 and was then promoted to the B team.

Herrero made his first-team debut for Bilbao on November 28, 2012 against Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona in the Europa League away from home.
