Larsen Toure is a professional football player from France who plays as a midfielder in the winger position. Sometimes, Toure can also play as a striker for his team, especially when he started playing for the Lille OSC youth academy. In 2005, he moved into the first team but failed to find a regular starting spot in the first team. In 2006-07, FC Gueugnon decided to take Toure on, on a loan-spell, and that gave him the opportunity to find more playing time.
He played 28 times for the club, scoring five goals, before returning to Lille. In 2007, he moved to Grenoble Foot 38 for another loan spell, playing another 28 times and scoring 4 goals. Toure was mostly employed as a winger in his clubs and he was impressive enough to find a buyer in Stade Brestois. The club brought him in and since 2010, Toure has played 23 times, scoring 4 goals and has been working mostly with the reserve team.
At the international level, Toure’s parentage from Guinea gave him the possibility of playing at the international level for Guinea while his birth in France gave him the option of choosing France as well, at the senior level. The tight competition for the French team meant that Toure would choose to play for Guinea instead, and has made five appearances since making his debut in 2008.
