Abdoulaye Keita

A professional football player from France, Abdoulaye Keita plays as a goalkeeper. Keita is a product of the youth academy at FC Girondins de Bordeaux, where he made his debut in 2006. He had been playing in other local academies before that but Bordeaux noticed the 16-year old and picked him up for their own set-up, fine-tuning his skills as a professional player.

In 2008, he moved into the first team at Bordeaux, making his debut for the reserve team. Keita, as a young goalkeeper, came into the reserve team and shared the starting spot with others. He made only 10 games for the B-Team and came into the first team at Bordeaux in 2009. Since moving into the side, he has only made one appearance for the team, although he has made a few appearances for the first team at the French national Under-17 and Under-19 set-ups.

In 2006, Keita played 7 times for the Under-17 side, at the FIFA Under-17 World Cup, before playing six times for the Under-19 side in 2008-09.
