Sambou Yatabare

A professional football player from France, Sambou Yatabare plays as a midfielder and has chosen to play for Mali, at the international level. Sambou began his professional career when he signed up with Stade Malherbe Caen in 2008. Over three seasons, he built up his profile in the first team, playing his way into the squad and becoming a regular by the end of it. He played 57 times, scoring three goals, and won the opportunity to play for AS Monaco at the highest level of French football.

In 2011-12, he played 9 times for Monaco, mostly as a substitute, scoring 1 goal as well. In 2012, Sambou moved to SC Bastia where he continues his fight to become a part of the first team. At the international level, Sambou had the opportunity to play for France as well as Mali, the country his parents hailed from. In 2008, Sambou decided to go with Mali as it would provide him a better opportunity to play, as compared to the French national team. However, he has only made 5 appearances for the side till now.
