Anderson Mazinho

A professional football player from Brazil, Anderson Soares da Silva, also known as Mazinho, plays as a striker. Mazinho has been something of a travelling footballer and in just 4 seasons of football, has played for 6 different sides, having started off at Oeste Futebol Clube in 2009. He played 14 games for the side before moving to Marilia Futebol Clube, with just one goal to his name. 8 games for Marilia also produced the same scoring statistics so Mazinho moved to Esporte Clube Noroeste, all in the same year.

The year was over an Mazinho couldn’t find any playing time with Noroeste and in 2010, he started the year with Oeste once again. 19 games and 2 goals later, he moved to Sao Caetano, still playing in the lower divisions of Brazilian football. Despite just one goal in 8 appearances, Mazinho was confident that there was nothing more he could do there and decided to move back to Oeste for the start of 2011.

After 17 games and 2 goals, Mazinho decided to move to America Futebol Clube on loan, a sort of trial period for his career. He played another 14 games and scored twice before moving back to Oeste for the start of 2012. After another 18 games and 7 goals, Mazinho found Palmeiras interested in his services and he decided to get a loan move to the club, where he’s played 17 games and scored 7 times already.
