A professional football player from Brazil, Luan Michel de Louza plays as a striker. In 2008, Luan came into the spotlight with Uniao Sao Joao when he broke into their first team. The youngster was considered an extremely exciting prospect and was bought by Sao Caetano in 2008, for the 2008-09 season. He played 19 games and scored 6 goals to become a target for European clubs and French side Toulouse FC came calling for the Brazilian.
In 2009, Luan signed up with Toulouse but after just 14 games and 1 goal, wasn’t able to keep his place in the side. A substitute on occasions but mostly on the bench, Luan decided to move to Brazil on loan, signing a contract with Palmeiras in 2010. He played 13 times for Palmeiras before choosing to move permanently to Brazil.
Palmeiras picked up Luan and put him into their first team, where he’s played over 60 games and scored 10 goals.
