A professional football player from Argentina, Andres Fabricio Romero plays as a striker. Andres began his playing career at the famous Argentinos Juniors youth academy, where the likes of Diego Maradona, Diego Placente, Sergio Batista and Juan Pablo Sorin had been nurtured in their young ages. Romero came through the youth academy with a lot of promise, breaking into the first team in 2008.
From 2008 to 2011, Romero spent most of his time on the sidelines, warming the bench. He only played around 35-odd games for the club, scoring 4 goals before being sent out to Criciuma Esporte Clube in 2012. Before Romero could make a single appearance for the team, he was sold to Club Nautico Capibaribe in 2012, where’s he has slotted himself as the substitute striker, playing 2 league games since coming to the club.
In 2010, Romero had won the Primera Division title with Argentinos Juniors although he had very little role to play in it. He was, however, a part of the Argentina Under-20 national team in 2009, playing 5 games for the team.
