Elierce Souza

Elierce Barbosa de Souza is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as a midfielder in a defensive role. Souza began his playing career at the youth academy at Atletico Goianiense, but his professional debut would come with Ceilandia Esporte Clube in 2007. Souza would move to Brasilia Futebol Clube in the second half of 2007 before moving to Esporte Clube Dom Pedro Bandeirante in 2008.

He signed up with the Palmeiras B side in 2008, and stayed with the team until 2009, before playing well enough to be pushed up into the first team of the Palmeiras A side. Since 2009, Souza has played 49 times for Palmeiras, but has spent 2010 out on loan to Ponte Preta, playing 28 games and scoring 4 goals.

He spent 2011 on loan to Sao Caetano, scoring 5 goals in 33 games while in 2012, he signed up with Clube Nautico Capibaribe for another loan deal.
