A professional football player from Brazil, Patric Cabral Lalau is a defender who plays in the right-back position. Known for his strong defensive skills and great power and efficiency going forward, Patric has often been compared with the likes of Douglas Maicon, even when he made his lower league debut with Criciuma Esporte Clube in 2006. Playing mostly in the state league and cup, Patric had made significant impact to earn a move to Sao Caetano in 2008, catching the eye of the national team selectors.

He made his debut for the Brazilian Under-20 national team in 2009 and became a part of the team that went on to win the 2009 South American Youth Championships, playing 9 games for the team. At the club level, Patric had made his place permanent, in the Sao Caetano first team. He had played 29 games, scoring 1 goal as well, and caught the eye of European giants Benfica, from Portugal.

After signing a three-season contract with Benfica, in 2009, Patric began working to get into the first team but never managed to win a single cap for the club. He was sent out on loan to Cruzeiro in 2009 and then to Avai Futebol Clube in 2010, playing 2 and 33 games, respectively.

In 2011, Benfica sold Patric to Atletico Mineiro where he played 13 games before being sent out on loan to Ponte Preta. After 11 games for his loan-club, Patric returned to Atletico Mineiro in 2012, only to be sent back out on loan again, this time to Avai Futebol Clube for his second loan spell with the side. However, before he could make any appearances for Avai, Patric moved to Clube Nautico Capibaribe, hoping to make an impact with his second loan move of 2012.
