Nick Powell is a teenage football player who currently features for the English and European powerhouse Manchester United. He plays as a midfielder and is rated as one of the best young players in England.
Powell commenced his footballing career at his hometown club Crewe Alexandra and joined their youth academy when he was just five years old. He progressed through the ranks and made debut for Crew on August 19, 2010 against Cheltenham Town in League Two.
Powell played for Crewe for two seasons, scoring 14 goals in 55 league matches, and his impressive performances saw him earn a move to Manchester United in July 2012 for a transfer fee worth £6 million.
Powell played for the England youth teams at various levels and currently represents his country at the Under-19 level.
