Sandro Silva
A professional football player from Brazil, Sandro Laurindo da Silva plays as a midfielder. Sandro was sighted during his childhood as a special talent, while playing for the Mirassol Futebol Clube. He made his professional debut for Mirassol in 2007, quite late considering that he was already 23-years old. After two seasons for the first team, Sandro only picked up 15 appearances and scored 1 goal.
However, he was playing quite well in the state league and the cup, ensuring that Palmeiras would offer him a contract. From 2008 to 2010, Sandro was a regular part of the first team, playing 43 games and scoring twice. He would spend a little time out on loan to Botafogo in 2010, playing just three games in the league but his performances in the state league helped the team win the 2010 Rio de Janeiro state league title.
In 2010, Malaga came hunting for Sandro and picked him up in 2010. However, Sandro barely played for the first team, making 24 appearances but spending most of his time with the reserve squad. In 2011, he was sent out back to Brazil, on loan to Internacional. He played just 8 games for the first team but he did help the team win the 2012 Rio Grande do Sul state league title.
